Sawyer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing with minors in English and Ancient History from Macquarie University, and is currently a master's student in Creative Writing. She was accepted into the 2025 Kill Your Darlings Mentorship program and is currently self-publishing her debut novel—a crossover dystopian thriller, Foreign Bodies—set to release in 2026.
